The Peterson Family

Buster Brown Propane is owned and operated by the Peterson family.  Living locally for generations, they are proud to provide greater East Texas with propane and service.

Owners

Mark and Jan Peterson

Mark and Jan Peterson live in New Caney, Texas.  They have been married for 44 years. They are the proud parents of Matt and grandparents of Abigail, Joanna and Christian. 

Mark serves as president of the Texas Propane Gas Association.  He enjoys hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.

Jan, serves as president of ESD#7, working hard for the firefighters of New Caney/ Splendora.  She also serves on the board for Mission Northeast.  Jan loves spending time outside, watching her grandkids ride horses on the property she grew up on.

Owner

Matt Peterson

Matt Peterson is a third generation owner.  He and his wife, Tayra, grew up together in New Caney, Texas and have been married for 20 years.  They have three children, Abigail, Joanna and Christian. 

Matt serves on the New Caney MUD board.  He is also a preacher and holds church at the coffee shop on Sunday mornings that he and his wife own.  Matt loves spending time with his kids, watching them ride horses, and play music.
